Boy Tales of Childhood
In Boy, Tales of Childhood, Dahl, tells of his painful, and unpleasent childhood. It was during this time period that he got many of his ideas for his wonderful stories. I think the funniest memory of his childhood was when he stuck a mouse in the Gobstopper. This idea shows up in both stories The Witches, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
