Canopy Understory  Floor

 

Flying through the wind, a parrot squawks.
                        She is at the top of the rainforest, the canopy. The tops of the almost never ending trees is seen at  this marvelous stage of the rainforest.
                       Below there, the middle of the rainforest, the understory, the trunks of the trees are sprouting branches. A spider monkey grabs some fruit, two in each hand, except for the hand grasping the branch, it only hope for not falling to the floor!
                      The gloomy forest floor is the last, and hopefully the shortest, part of the Rainforest Realm. This gloomy place it is, for only bugs, tapirs, dangerous snakes, and the dreaded jaguar lurk here! You are careful not to step on the "vine" right in front of your feet..
