Saving The Rainforest

A jaguar mother guards her cubs. To her, they are the most valuable things in the world. She grooms them all again.
Looking around, she eyes a beautiful butterfly fluttering about. One cub gets up and starts playfully swatting at it. Then the butterfly flutters away.
The cub waits a second, then turns back to his family.
The butterfly lands on a flower. She unrolls her tongue and starts drinking the nectar. Some pollen is stuck on the bottom of the butterfly's feet, but she doesn't notice. She just flies to another flower, some pollen falling off, more pollen on her feet.

Do you want this world, this world of beauty and peace to end? We, Humans, have taken the rainforest for granted and are destroying it. Some are against it, but we continue destroying it, at a rate of 100 acres per minute. Think about the animals. Think about what will happen to them. The little cubs in the story would be defenseless if in a situation of the rainforest's destruction. Or would they be caught and made into fur coats? And the butterfly? Would she not survive? How would she survive? Would she be turned into a sample for scientists to look at? Would the butterfly ever have clean feet?!

Enough with the jokes. The rainforest is in trouble of disappearing forever. I believe we can  do without things from the rainforest. We can farm in other places, right? We can recycle, right? We can do all these things. The Human race realize what it's doing before the consequences take effect! We're supposed to have the highest intelligence, right? Well, let's go prove it and save our rainforest!!

Don't be afraid. Act now to save the rainforest!
