Rainforest Art Activity Animals in the rainforest often use camouflage to protect themselves from predators. Here is a fun activity to show the effectiveness of camouflage. How To Make Camouflaged Butterflies
1. Get three colors of construction paper.
2. Cut out butterflies from the construction paper and paste them on a newspaper.
3. Now get another newspaper and cut out some more butterflies, and paste them so that they will look camouflaged.
4. Then let your parents see and give them only 15 seconds.
5. Now ask them how many butterflies they saw and tell them there were some camouflaged butterflies.
6. I bet you will have tricked them.How many butterflies to you think are here? Take 15 seconds.
