I at first wanted to do the Inca and the Andes web page project because it seemed like such a fascinating place to go. I wanted to learn about things that would have to take millions of years to show. The greatness of the Inca is overwhelming. The Inca knew how to live, they didn't long for glory or recognition, just the simple way of a peaceful life. Joining ThinkQuest was a dream come true. I wasn't so sure when I started though. Andes, Inca, they seem so plain. The names at least. I didn't really know what to do, but I thought of the ways we could take charge and make this a little more interesting. I think that we succeeded in that, but I guess I'll probably only hear it from my friends point of view.

I enjoyed doing this project with my friends. Katie moved from California one year ago, and we became friends almost instantly. Ashley and I have been friends for a while, but haven't done anything like this before. They are both my good friends. We are so close and alike that sometimes I think we are sisters

I enjoy rock climbing, beading, playing my flute, basketball, volleyball, working with people and computers, and reading. I enjoyed making a friend with the librarian and it was lots of fun working with Ashley's mom. When I get older I'd like to become a scientist or an architect. I'd like to continue working with computers and I hope that this web page will help someone someday. Even if it doesn't, I really enjoyed doing this. I think that this is a great resource for people to learn about the Andes and the long lasting achievements of the Inca. I owe a lot to my family for encouraging me on my quest for knowledge, and I thank Ms. Kimberly Lowe and Mrs. Knight, our coaches.
