Hi! My name is Katie C.. I am 11 years old and I go to Piñon Valley Elementary in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I love to synchronize swim, which is like dancing and jazz in the water. I love all animals, especially cats because I have 5 of them. I also have a dog and a fish.

 

I chose to do the Andes because I once saw a slide show by a friend's mom who went to Peru. It was all about the Andes and the Inca. They were awesome slides! I wanted to find out more about the Andes, and by then we had just finished reading about the Andes and the Inca in school. So when ThinkQuest started it was the perfect time to find out more about the Andes. I chose agriculture, climate, natural resources, and art to write about because they sounded like the most interesting and Ashley K. had already taken wildlife!
