Hello, my name is Ashley K.. I am 11 years old and am in sixth grade at Piñon Valley Elementary. This year, I am reading the fiction section in the library of my school. At the moment, I'm on G. My favorite subjects are Reading and Writing. When I grow up, I want to be a writer and a teacher.

My favorite sport is basketball and my favorite football team is the Green Bay Packers. My favorite hobbies are reading and collecting key chains. Right now, I have 130 key chains.

I like animals, especially cats and horses. Some more things I like are my hair and fingernails long, friends, my house, my school, my waterbed, stuffed animals, and beanie babies. Actually, I like mostly everything, except, of course, mean people, swearing, drugs, alcohol, etc.

We chose to do the Andes because when Rachel, Katie and I brainstormed, the Andes seemed the best idea, mainly because I basically didn't know a thing about them. After we started research, I was really glad that we had chosen the Andes because they are really interesting, plus, I had gotten topics that I liked, wildlife and geography. All in all, I am really glad that we did ThinkQuest, even if it was hard work, (but hey, that's life!) and I hope you enjoy looking at our web site as much as we enjoyed doing it for you!!
