that offers many contrasts. It has the most varied climate of any continent.
Its northern ice-covered plains differ greatly in temperature from sunny Caribbean
beaches. Also, its landscape varies from mountain peaks to flat grasslands.
North America has the world's largest island and the world's largest freshwater lake as
well as some of the world's most amazing animals.
