Wisconsin is named after the name which is from the French version of an Ojibwa term that may mean "gathering of the waters" or "place of the beaver." Wisconsin’s nickname is the Badger State. Tourists spend almost 4 billion in Wisconsin. Most tourism is going fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, swimming, and boating. Another tourist attraction is the Dells of the Wisconsin River. Wisconsin has more than 50 state parks. Wisconsin’s capital is Madison.
