Rhode.gif (374 bytes)Rhode Island entered the Union on May 29, 1790.  It was the 13th state.  The first U.S. textile mill was made in Rhode Island in the late 18th century.  Its main industry is manufacturing.  Roger Williams founded the state. (Type Roger Williams into the search box.)
