Michigan.gif (418 bytes)    Michigan entered the United States as the 26th state on January 26th, 1837.  Tourists spend more than $6.8 billion a year in Michigan.  Popular parks in Michigan are Isle Royale National Park and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Michigan has 93 state parks.  The capital of Michigan is Lansing.
