This is the old Friends Meeting House in South Yarmouth.  It was built in 1809 by David Killey. This Quaker meeting house has shutters inside to separate the men and women during meetings. They are still operated by a rope. The fence surrounding the burial ground was built in 1882, enclosing several plain headstones, all of the same shape.

Legend has it that one of the boys buried here had two hearts, one on each side of his body, discovered at the time of his death.
