I am the only one on my team and class with braces. There are only 9 other students in my school with braces!  Three kids with braces are in the 5th grade and 6 are in 6th grade.  Can you believe that?       Our team took a poll of the teachers in our school and found out that out of 22 teachers, 10 had braces as a kid and 2 wore retainers.       When I got my braces my friends started talking to their parents about getting them too.  The other members of the team might be getting braces soon.       Have you read my Journal? Hi! I'm Svetlana. I am 10 years old now. I go to P.S. 56 in New York City and I am in the 5th grade. The school is great and the principal is the best.       I like to do pretty much everything. I like playing sports (though I'm bad at it), talk about stuff with my friends, draw, go on the computer and everything else - you name it! So do me a favor,  Enjoy the Site!

My name is Val.  I like to play sports. I play Kickball, Dodgeball, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, and sometimes play Football. I also like to play video games and go on my computer. I have a lot of friends.  I go to P.S.56 in Queens. That is in New York City.
