Who are some Olympic hopefuls for the future?

What is involved in training for the Olympics?

Figure skater Dana Confessore spends many hours each week throughout the year training on the ice.

Dana:  During the winter I skate four days a week for a total of about 8 hours of ice time.  During school breaks and summer vacation, I'm able to skate more often.  A typical week during the school year includes two half our private lessons per week with my coach, Sergei Soukhanov.  I love to spin and jump.  I already have my axel and two double jumps and am now working on my double loop, flip and lutz.

I also take one half hour lesson a week with choreographer Angela Orlick.  During the lesson we work on my program and certain elements like the layback and the camel.
