Hercules is sometimes called the phantom. In Roman and Greek mythology Hercules is said to have tremendous strength. He is often shown in the sky kneeling near the head of Draco, facing Aquila and Sygnus. One of the largest red supergiants, Rasalgethi is in the constellation. Its name is Arabic for " The kneeler's head." Rasalgethi is 600 times the diameter of our sun. It does not appear very bright, because it's 430 light years away.
