Sean:  When did you start looking for diamonds?

Ms. Strawn:  Ten years ago, in 1989.

Sean:  Does anyone hunt diamonds with you?

Ms. Strawn:  Sometimes I like to take a friend.

Sean:  What method do you use to find diamonds?

Ms. Strawn:  I use a 3-screen method, washing drains, or surface searching.

Sean:  How many diamonds have you found?

Ms. Strawn:  300 or more

Sean:  When did you find your first diamond?

Ms. Strawn:  In 1990

Sean:  What is the biggest diamond you have found?

Ms. Strawn:  The Strawn/Wagner diamond.  It weighed 3.03 carats, and was cut to 1.09 carats.  It was certified as a flawless 0-0-0 diamond.   This means the diamond was absolutely perfect in every aspect of cut, color, and clarity.  A diamond this perfect is estimated to occur less than once in a billion.
