Sean: When did you start looking for diamonds?
Ms. Strawn: Ten years ago, in 1989.
Sean: Does anyone hunt diamonds with you?
Ms. Strawn: Sometimes I like to take a friend.
Sean: What method do you use to find diamonds?
Ms. Strawn: I use a 3-screen method, washing drains, or surface searching.
Sean: How many diamonds have you found?
Ms. Strawn: 300 or more
Sean: When did you find your first diamond?
Ms. Strawn: In 1990
Sean: What is the biggest diamond you have found?
Ms. Strawn: The Strawn/Wagner diamond. It weighed 3.03 carats, and was cut to 1.09 carats. It was certified as a flawless 0-0-0 diamond. This means the diamond was absolutely perfect in every aspect of cut, color, and clarity. A diamond this perfect is estimated to occur less than once in a billion.
