Classical

Classical music, is sometimes called art music. It was usually written for religious services, concerts, operas and ballets. It can be arranged for symphony orchestras, voices, or both combined together. Classical music varies from extremely long compositions with many different tempos and styles to very short ones which are the same though out. It may tell stories, describe moods, or express an idea.

The two chief kinds of classical music are vocal and instrumental. Instrumental music may be performed by one instrument, a small ensemble, or a very large orchestra. Vocal music varies in the same way except with singers. Many compositions of classical music have both instrumental and vocal parts combined. Many people listen to classical music because it is beautiful and relaxing.
