I am in 6th grade, and 12 years old. I was born in Arkansas, but moved to Oregon when I was about 2 years old. I moved back to Arkansas last year. I have a sister and two brothers.

I have two dogs, Dixie and Lady. My hobbies are playing the flute and piano, reading, singing in choir, being with my friends, and spending time with my family. I was on the Nettleton Quiz Bowl Team - (kind of like kids' Jeopardy), and we won in our region and are going to state in April 1999.

I found websites, and categorized them into their Dewey hundreds group. I wrote and typed the "Country Numbers" and the "Geography and History" articles on this website. I did a survey at my school to find out the students' favorite nonfiction book topics. I also helped write and type the " What Does a Call Number Look Like" section. I also drew and colored the Arkansas map.

My favorite part about making this website was all the fun we had together, but we still managed to learn a lot and we got the website finished. I really want to thank my librarian and my coach, Ms. Suby, for all the help and support she gave us. She took up a bunch of her time and devoted it to helping the members in our team make this website.

I cannot begin to tell you how much how I've learned from this experience. One thing I learned was that Ms. Suby, does not tolerate fooling around at 1:00 a.m. Just Kidding!!!! Really, I've learned all about the Dewey Decimal System in general. I learned how books are classified. I learned that teamwork does the job! This experience has increased my knowledge of computers greatly!!!!
