During a Hurricane...

During the eye:

If the center of the eye passes though your area, STAY INDOORS unless emergency repairs are absolutely neccesary. Wind and rain may stop, and it may be sunny for a short while. BEWARE,the wind may suddenly pick up again from the opposite direction with greater force than before.

Here are some help saftey hints to keep in mind during a storm:

• stay inside a well-constructed building
• stay away from all windows and doors
• close all interior doors
• go to an interior room such as a basement or closet
