Mysteries in the Millions 
 
 
         Welcome web surfers and sleuths! This web page is about mysteries. Some have been created for your entertainment, some have been created to challenge you. We would like to invite you to add your mysteries to our site by sending them to bcarnes@northside.nwsc.k12.ar.us. We want kids of all ages to enjoy our goal of collecting a "million mysteries". Use your skills of deduction and inference to solve our mysteries. You will also need to use your logical thinking skills while doing some of our puzzling mysteries. Watch out for our red herrings.

          * MINI MYSTERIES are short stories that will bend your mind and will make
                        you  pay  attention to everything because anything could be a clue.
                        Try some more mini mysteries.

 
          * LOGIC PUZZLES are puzzles to strengthen your deductive reasoning
                        by some direct and some indirect clues.   

    * SLEUTH PUZZLES are a fun way to learn about detectives and about some of  the
                       ways to investigate crimes.  Here are some more sleuths that need your help.

    * CODES AND CIPHERS bend and stretch your mind.  Think about the solutions for
                        these "mysterious" problems.  Codes and ciphers make connections between an assortment
                        of characters and illustrations.  We've put together some puzzles to challenge you!

          * RED HERRINGS are mysteries that give too many clues.  Try to solve some of ours.
                    Can you figure out which clues are the real clues and which are the red herrings?
                  Edgar Allan Poe loved to use red herrings. Try some Poe mysteries.
