About the Authors

There were four authors that worked on our web page. Their names are: Megan, Amanda, Carissa, and Brooke.

Meet us individually!

Megan - I am ten years old. I have a twin sister named Molly. I have one other sister named Lori she is thirteen years old. Her vollyball team won state. My mom, Gayla, works at the Administration Office and she works with the schools computer.  My dad, Steve, owns Link Water Well Drilling and he works at Freeman United Coal Mine. I like soccer, softball, roller blading, and indoor soccer. I'm in Mrs. Klaus' class at West Elementry School in Carlinville. I'm in fifth grade. My favorite subject in school is spelling. Mrs. Klaus is my favorite teacher.

Amanda - I am eleven years old. I have 3 sisters and no brothers. My oldest sister, Amber is in college. She goes to University of Illinois (U of I). She looks almost exactly like me except she's older and she's  nineteen years old. Dawn is my next older sister and is in the ninth grade and is fifteen years old. I am the third oldest. Rachel is ten years old and is the littlest kid and is in the fourth grade.  My mom, Carolyn, works at Dr. Hedricks and Dr. Rubriks eye doctors' office and she fixes the patients glasses. My dad, John, works at Maco Construction. He does the draft work on the computer.

Carissa - I am eleven years old.  My birthday is May 2.  There are 6 people in my family including me. I am the oldest child in my family.  I have 2 sisters and 1 brother.   My sister Cami is 10 years old and my sister Carly is 3 years old.  My brother is 7 years old.  My mom's name is Connie and my dad's name is Chris.   I  also have a dog named Cowboy.   I also have pet Sea Monkeys.  My teacher is Mrs. Klaus, she is great.

Brooke - I am ten years old. I have 5 brothers and no sisters. My oldest brother is 21 he is very nice to me the others are mean. I'm the second youngest. My brothers ages are 4, 16, 18, 18 and 21. One of my brothers is my step brother. I have two families.  My mom's name is Debbie.  My dad's name is Arby.  My mom works at a local restaurant, Dick and Judy's.  My dad is a mechanic.  Mrs. Klaus is my teacher at West School.
