Volcanoes are hot

But when they are cool they're not

Volcanoes can be active

Volcanoes can be extinct

Volcanoes can be dormant

When volcanoes are active

They spit up lava

And are awesome

They are always beautiful

When they erupt

When volcanoes are extinct

They are tired from erupting

And have hot gases

They are just wonderful

When they are extinct

When volcanoes are dormant

They have not erupted for years

They sit and are asleep

People are  happy
