BACKGAMMON- An ancient game played in Egypt, Greece, and Rome. The game is played on a board which is divided in half by a center bar. On the two sides there are 24 illustrated spikes with alternate colors, and both players have 15 pieces to move. These spikes are used to move your pieces onto, like a square to move on in Monopoly. On the spike can fit as many pieces as possible. Skill is necessary because you need to know which pieces to move. Two opponents can play moving their pieces in different directions. The object of the game is to move your men off the board by the roll of the dice.
