Restless South America

From reading and hearing about many earthquakes and volcanoes in South America throughout the years, it has shown to be a pretty active continent. Most of the activity is on the western side in Chile and Colombia . This is because of two plates colliding, laying under the large continent. There are about 55 to 60 volcanoes known of, and they erupt every once in a while.
