Restless

North America

North America is a very active continent. One of the reasons is that it is on the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire is a fault that affects Asia, and North and South America. This fault pretty much just covers the Pacific ocean. Another major fault in North America is the San Andreas fault. This fault runs through the western side of North America. This is one of the causes of earthquakes in the western side of North America. Alaska is another place with lots of earthquakes. The eastern side of North America is not as effected by these sorts of things.
