Treaty Of Paris

Treaty of Paris

The fighting had stopped but the peace treaty referred to as The Treaty of Peace of Paris remained unsigned until 1783. This treaty did several things. It said that there would be peace between America and Britain (No more war between them). The treaty also gave America all land west of the Mississippi River and allowed America to fish near New Foundland and Nova Scotia. The best part of the treaty, though, guaranteed that America was free!
