1. Mr. Candy was selling chocolate candy to his students just
for fun.
The chocolate bunnies were $1.00 each. The peanut butter
cups were $3.25 a box.
The Choco-bars were $7.00 a dozen. Freddy
wanted 3 boxes of peanut butter cups,
Alex wanted 6 chocolate
bunnies, and Emily wanted 1 bunny and 1 dozen of Choco-bars.
How much did it cost them all together?
2. For dessert, Mr. Candy went down to the chocolate store.
When he got there, he saw white chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate
cake, chocoate raisins, and regular fudge all
all lined up in a
row. The chocolate raisins were smack in the middle, and the regular
fudge was right next to it. The white chocolate was the second
dessert to the right of the raisins, and the chocolate cake was the
fourth dessert to the left of the white choloate. Last, the dark
chocolate is to the right of that.
What is the order of the desserts from left to right?
3. Today was Friday and Mr. Candy had nothing to do. So he looked for all the food in his house! 1/4 of what he found was dark chocolate, 3/12 was chocolate ice cream, and 6/36 was chocolate kisses.
What fraction of his food was made of chocolate? Reduce to lowest terms.
