HOW TO PLAY CHESS
    Chess is set up on an eight by eight square board like in the picture below.
 
 
        The object of  chess is to capture the opponent's king. The white player always moves first. When one player is in position to capture the king this position is called "check". You don't have to say check when this position is happening.

             The game of chess consists of three stages: (1) the opening, (2) the middle, and (3) the end game. In the opening, players move their pieces so that they have an advantage to capture the opponent's pieces. Professional chess players recommend only moving the pieces once or twice until you've moved them all.

          In the middle of the game, players try to gain advantage in the position or number of their men in preparation for a direct attack on the enemy king.

            In the end game players try to capture the opponent's king to win the game.
