Well balanced Page and Menu Designs

Good web page design is largely a matter of balancing the power of
links. Internet linkages against the new ability to imbed graphics and
motion media within networked web pages. The best current designs tend
to use relatively small graphic banners at the top of pages, with hyper linked
lists of text items below. These pages load into viewers quickly, even when
accessed from slow modems over SLIP lines (witch make it even slower), yet
these pages still achieve a substantial graphic impact.
