What is a year?
A year is the time it takes for a
planet to go around the sun once. Neptune and Uranus are so far away from
the sun that their years are very long. One year on Uranus is 84 Earth
years. Neptune's year is 165 Earth years.
Uranus's average distance from the
sun is about 1,783 million miles (2,869.6 million kilometers). It's speed
in orbit around the sun ia approximatly 4.2 miles a second (6.8 kilometers
a second).
