Pet mice

Your mouse (if you don't have a mouse or mice and I've insulted you, you had better not read this or skip over those parts, because there is a lot of them...). To get on with it, your mouse has a territory and may mark it regularly. (I'll give you a moment to recover from being grossed out.) Tell me when you're ready... Ready? Good. Now then, the ideal temperature for your mouse (told you) is between 64 degrees to 68 degrees Fahrenheit, and the ideal humidity is 50%-60% (not quite as much as that rain forest someplace that has a humidity of 100%). Your mouse should have four toes on the front feet and five on the back. Did you know that your mouse doesnt have roots on it's incisors? I dont know why. Its front teeth keep growing and growing and growing, and just when its mouth doesnt look big enough for the teeth its got, it grows some more!
If you have a female and a male, you probably know that mice get pregnant very, very fast. Mice can also have a lot of babies at one time. You may also know that babies weigh only 1/25 of an ounce (1 gram.) You probably also know that in three weeks baby mice are ready to leave their mother. Mice only live three or four years, which I think is short.
