There have been many famous mice over the years. Some of the famous mice they had over the years are not as popular any more like... Mortimer Mouse, Fievel Mouse, and Danger Mouse. All these mice were very famous many years ago. Most of these mice you do not see very much anymore.
Walt Disney and his wife Lillian created the character Mickey Mouse in 1928 while returning to their home in California from a business trip to New York. Walt had suggested the name Mortimer but Lillian suggested the name Mickey. Minnie Mouse was created as Mickey's girlfriend. Their first animated movie together was called Steamboat Willie. The character Mortimer Mouse was created in 1930. He was Minnie's rich cattleman uncle.

The Mighty Mouse cartoon was first called "The Mouse Of Tomorrow" and was released October 16, 1942 by Terrytoons Studio. You can still find Mighty Mouse cartoons on the USA Network.

The creator of Fievel Mouse is Don Bluth. He directed Fievel's first movie, An American Tail in 1986. He is also the director of the movies The Secret of Nhim in 1982, The Land Before Time in 1987, and All Dogs Go to Heaven in 1989. Fievel's second movie he starred in was called Fievel goes West directed by Steven Spielburg. After that Steven Spielburg was the director of all his shows. Don Bluth had retired.
The creator of Tom and Jerry is Hanna and Barbra. Tom and Jerry is and Academy Award-winning cat and mouse duo. Hanna and Barbra also created Yogi Bear and Boo Boo. Voices Of Tom & Jerry (vocal effects only): John Stephenson. The first time that Tom and Jerry was seen on TV was September 3, 1977. Tom and Jerry can no longer be played on TV because of the violence in the cartoons.

DangerMouse is a cartoon superhero created in England by Cosgrove/Hall Productions Limited and first aired in 1981. For 2 years beginning in June of 1984, the show appeared in the US on the Nickelodeon channel. He appeared in England for 3 videos. He ranked 3rd in the most top selling videos.
