Hi, my name is Ashley V. The Santa Barbara mission was the 10th Spanish mission in Califormina. It ws founded by Father Fermin Francisco de Lausuen on December 4, 1786. It was named for St. Barbara. It was the most solidly built mission and most well preserved. It is now a national historic landmark. I worked on my mission project for about four hours. I used materials such as flour, water, cookieboxes, tape, glue, water colors, and real floweres. I used my imagination to make it look real . Thank you! |
