Why are Tsunamis dangerous?
Tsunami are a series of big waves. Tsunami waves
move very quickly across the deep ocean, and as they get close to shore the waves get
very large. The waves can be 15 minutes to an hour apart. People often go near the
shore to see what damage the first wave has caused, and the next wave will hit.
Thousands of people have been killed by Tsunami.
