What causes a Tsunami?
There are three main things that cause Tsunami waves:
1) A shift in the ocean floor which causes a large earthquake.
2) An undersea landslide.
3) A volcanic eruption under the ocean.
The largest Tsunami are caused by the shifting of the ocean floor which causes large earthquakes.
Tides and weather do no cause Tsunami waves!
