The most common reptile is a iguana or snake. Reptiles should be kept in a warm climates such as 85 degrees F. They eat special food such as salamanders, which eat live earthworms or fish food.

If you get a reptile you should not let it around young children, reptiles release a chemical that makes infants and young children stop breathing. If you touch a reptile, and you don't wash your hands they can give you salmonella.
