Safety Tips
Here are some safety tips for swimming in a lake, river, pond, or ocean:
Watch for sharp objects.
Don't swim under a pier.
Watch for dangerous animals.
Here are some safety tips for swimming in a swimming pool:
Don't swim under a diving board.
Don't run around a swimming pool.
Here are some safety tips that go with both of them.
Don't swim unsupervised.
Don't dive in shallow water.
Don't get careless in or near the water.
When you swim get out of the water before you make yourself so tried you feel like you can't get out of the water.
Learn how to rescue you or another person from drowning. Then, learn how to take care of them after you rescue them.
We know some of these safety tips sound like if you go by them you're not going to have any fun. So regaurdless of how strict they are please remember to have a little fun.
