Nicole Haislett
Nicole Haislett was born in 1972. She was the first American to defeat a person from East Germany in the one hundred meter freestyle since the Munich Olympics in 1972 at the Goodwill Games in 1990 that were at Seattle. She won two gold medals at the Olympics in Barcelona in the four hundred meter relay and the two hundred meter freestyle. In that event she set and still holds the American record as of 8/31/97.
