Kristy Kowal is six foot one and weighs one hundred and forty two pounds. She was born October 9, 1978. She is from Reading, Pennsylvania and lives in Athens, Georgia. She swims for the Athens Bulldogs. She is the 18th fastest woman ever in the one hundred meter breaststroke and the 3rd fastest in United States history. She is the tenth fastest American woman ever in the 200 meter breaststroke. She was a United States National Champion once. She became a member of the United States Swimming 1995. She hadn't swam year-round until the spring of 1995 and that was just a couple months before making the 1995 Pan Pac Team ( the first international team she had been on.) She enjoys reading, hiking, and biking.
