Karen Burton lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born June 11, 1962. She was a World Series Marathon Swimming Champion twice. She holds the world record in the English Channel Relay and the Catalina Channel Relay. She was a NCAA Diving second All-American sixteen times. She was a United States Open Water National Champion 6 times.
She has a bachelor's degree in Human Factor Engineering. She is currently a massage therapist in Monument, Colorado. She is also currently a master's swimming coach at the United States Air Force Academy.
