You girls did such a nice job. My girls like to swim also. We are from Moberly, but are currently stationed in Japan (in the Navy). It is pretty cold most of the year here in Northern Japan, so we have an indoor swimming pool. It's very nice because we can swim all year long.

I love the mice with swim trunks, very original. I visited your page because I learned to swim in Huntsville, MO over 35 years ago. My parents helped to start the Huntsville swmming pool on the north side of town. Your page brought back some very nice memories. Thanks.

Dear Belinda and Whitney, Your web site was very nice. You used a lot of colors. I was impressed with the pictures you had, the borders and the lettering. I know that takes a lot of work. It is amazing for me to read about swimming and to realize how this sport has grown over the years. I used to live in Florida. Did you know that Thomas Edison had a winter home in Ft.Myers? His pool was one of the first in the area. It isn't very large, but it was special for that time. Also, did you know there was an actress who helped make swimming popular? Her name was Esther Williams. Some of her movies were filmed at Cypress Gardents. The pool is still there for visitors to see. You may not know it, but when I lived in Florida I was certified to teach swimming. So, your web page certainly attracted my attention. Your hard work was worth the effort. I am so proud of both of you! Your page turned out so nice. You two put a lot of time into this project.

It was so interesting watching you two put this project together. You both were always so busy planning and laying out. Belinda, it seemed like you were typing for days! <grin> Now I see why! Wow! What a lot of great information you put in your page! I loved the way you two were so organized with this project. You had that notebook that you kept exactly what you were doing so that if one of you were working without the other you wouldn’t duplicate efforts.

I really like the s you came up with for your page. You did a great job.

I am sorry that the end of the project was so rocky for us. We had achievement testing starting. We had that storm come through and take out our computer lab access to the Internet which meant that we had to transfer the pages from one computer to another one that had a dial up connection. This involved rebuilding all of the broken links on your web site. I am amazed that we didn’t have more broken links than we do. I am so sorry that the page that you had proofread and perfected was not able to get posted!

Thank you for the evenings that you spent on this project. Thanks for working at school on Saturday all day and evening. Thank you Belinda for staying so late working out the bugs when we were posting your page to the Internet. Also, please thank your mother for providing us with food on the weekend and late evenings that we were working on this at school.

I know that you started this project with just a blank white page and just look what you have done with it!!!!!
