Kahanamoku
Duke Kahanamoku was born in 1890 and died in 1968. He was a member of the Hawaiian Royal family that won three gold medals and two silver medals in the 1912, 1920, and 1924 Olympic games. He played water polo and was one of the first people to start surfing. He showed America the crawl stroke. Later on he became the sheriff of Honolulu.
