Angel Martino |
Angel Martino was born in 1967. She won a gold medal in
the 50 meter freestyle and she also won a gold medal in the
4x100 meter freestyle relay in the Olympic Games in
Barcelona in 1992. In the Olympic Games in 1996 at Atlanta
she won a bronze medal in the 100 meter butterfly and the
100 meter freestyle. She won a gold medal at Atlanta in
the 4x100 meter medley relay and the 4x100 meter freestyle
relay. She might be greatly remembered for giving one of
the medals she had won to one of her friends that had
cancer and was sick with it.
