I would just like to say that I am a twin as well. I have a twin sister named mindy and we are very much alike. i don't think i would change anything about her for the world. She is the greatest sister and more than that she is my best friend and i don't know what i would do without her. It is so weird to think that so far both of our pregnancies have been the same. she had a little boy not to long ago and I am expecting a little boy in nov. I do believe that the Olsen twins are fraternal. They look the same, but you could other siblings who look exactly the same also. Also, I know that they are dumb questions, but it is possible to be born on seperate days (even seperate years), and it is even possible to have seperate fathers.

Thankyou for a wonderful site, My Sister and I are Mirror Twins. We were born in 1964,Sydney, Australia. Our heart beats were the same, so Mum didn't even know she was having Twins until the Nurse said," Don't shut the Humidity Crib,there's another one coming" Doctors gave us half hour to live. ( we weighed 2 pounds each , and were 3 months early). We are now 37yrs old and thankful to GOD for every day he has blessed us with.

I'm an identical twin and it's really good to have websites like this to read facts about other twins. I would really like to find out the address for the 'twin association' if anyone knows it.this website is really fun and colourful, but in addition to everything I think there should be possible acting job interviews advertised specifically for twins because me &rachel would love to act together in a film or television programme about twins or that contains twin scenes.

I'm an identical twin and I liked this web site also. It's was nice to run into one that twins are actually conversing, it seems that all the other web sites are about the parents of twins, it doesn't always have to be about the parents(how to manage, how stressed they are, ect. ect. ect.)

There is a twin misconception that twins born with two separate placentas are fraternal. 30% of the time they are identical. (70% of identical twins share a placenta.) One can find out with a simple genetic test that can be ordered from a lab)

I think that it is neat that y'all have a web site!

It was impossible to read the choices at the bottom of the page because there was not a good contrast on the bottom of the page. I am visually impaired and that means I have a hard time reading light colors on white. It would help me if you had bold black on top of white, or at least some dark color on top of white. My mother had to help me, and she had a hard time too, but she is not visually impaired.

I am an identical twin, and I HATE my sister. We are not friends and do NOT get along. We have put each other in the hospital, and she has been diagnosed with multiple personalities. SO, maybe you should add that not all twins get along or choose to play together when they're younger. Thanks!

I have boy/girl twins that are now 31. They don't even like eachother. But, in a crisis situation, just like any other siblings they would give eachother the shirt off their back. They had their own language when they were small and kept eachother occupied. They were no harder to take care of than a single birth. I know because I have one older and one younger child.

I am an identical twin and I am repeatedly asked, " What is your name?" or " Do you ever switch places? Do you want to?" Also, most of my friends don't even know I have a twin, so when I tell them, they all start asking personal questions about my twin. I wish I knew how it is to be a regular sister. But then I am glad to be a twin so that I don't go to middle school all by my self and high school all by my self and maybe college all by myself. My husband Chuck and I have a set of identical twin boys born on May 24,1998. Their names are Noah and Caleb. They were conceived after four months of prayer for identical twin boys with blond hair and blue eyes.(that was my prayer, my husband just thought I was crazy) Every detail of my pregnancy was an answer to my prayers. (the boys do have blond hair and blue eyes) God still does miracles.

I REALLY enjoyed your website!! It was very colorful. It's good to know that there is somebody else out there who is a twin and shares the same emotional feelings as my sister and I do. I just found out that my twin boys are identical....I was told they were fraternal at birth as they had 2 placentas and 2 sacs. They are 6.5 years old and did the DNA swab tests on them which confirmed what everyone has always said...."They look so much alike, they must be identical". I always thought the doctors were right, so I never questioned their similiar features. So now I am part of the identical twin "family'. We recently adopted 12 year old fraternal twin girls from Bulgaria (they are now nearly 14). Their names are Ivanka and Irina. What's fascinated us is how absolutely opposite they are, in every way imaginable. One even has dyslexia and the other dyscalculia. I have recently thought that if anyone was ever interested in doing a study on fraternal twins, these two could offer up enough information to fill a book.

I'm a mirror twin in Portland, Oregon. In response to the area for dumb questions, I had to add that I have been asked whether I have ESP or can tell what my brother is thinking tons of times. I always laugh at the lack of intelligence they are willing to show. I must say that I have always found it wierd to think about the fact that I am characteristic of only about one in two-hundred people. While I will say being a twin has its good points, others are not so good. Dances are not so good cause you know you look just like your insecure, uncordinated brother. Driving also proved to be a problem, and I got my lisense only a year after my sixteenth birthday.

Wow! Your page turned out so nice. You did a lot of research on your project. I think it is a very informative web site. I had no idea about some of those things. Thank you for putting in all together in one spot. I think twins is a very interesting topic. I enjoyed your page a lot.

It was so interesting watching you two put this project together. It seemed to me the hardest thing for the two of you was to actually come up with a topic that you could both agree on!!! I think you picked a good one. I guess the next hardest thing was the actual page layout. It was very interesting to watch your web site change each time you worked on it. I am very glad that you decided on a font that is easy to read and colors that are bright and inviting. I think you made some good choices.

I really like the s you came up for your page. This is a very hard topic to illustrate with drawings, let alone drawing them with a bumpy computer mouse! You did a great job.

I am sorry that the end of the project was so rocky for us. We had achievement testing starting. We had that storm come through and take out our computer lab access to the Internet which meant that we had to transfer the pages from one computer to another one that had a dial up connection. This involved rebuilding all of the broken links on your web site. I am amazed that we didn’t have more broken links than we do. You did a great job of getting them repaired in such a short amount of time. This really showed that you know what you are doing!

I know that you started this project with just a blank white page and just look what you have done with it!!!!!
