I am a elite gymnast who has been doing gymnastics for 5 years. I do 4 hours a week and train at home as well. I'm now started doing back flips on my own which. Itis quite scary. My favourite piece of equipment is the bars and beam because I can do really cool stuff on them. I'm just crazy about gymnastics and I would luv to have my own private gym. That will never happen. I am now 12 years old, that is alot of training since I was 7!My gym is really nice because it has only just been built Got to go, luv Chelsie 17.5.01

To any who can answer my question, I recall during grade school - high school gymnastics a cartwheel-type maneuver that I don't see in present-day gymnastics. It was like a round-off, except that it concluded with a full twist rather than a half twist, such that the gymnast is now facing in the same direction as they began, rather than being turned around facing where they came from, as in a round-off. Can anyone please put a name to this maneuver?? My aging brain tells me it began with a "t" but I can't recall the rest of it.

Thanks,

Ken F.

Hi Kelsey and Hayley! What an awesome page. I'm so impressed that you did all of this! Not very many adults can design a web page, or would even try. Your's is extensive and thorough. You used several techniques and it is very pleasing to the eye. I especially like your use of backgrounds. You're the winner in my book! Good luck!

Love, Aunt Sharon (wife of big sandpaper)

The picture at the beginning of your site is just amazing. I can't wait for my daughter to come home from school so she can visit your site also. She is in a gymnastics class and we really love watching gymnastics competitions (especially the Olympics). I was quite surprised to learn that Shannon Miller is from Missouri. You'd think I would know that, as I am from Moberly. As a matter of fact, my nephews go to your school. I was really fortunate to stumble upon your site and be able to see the wonderful work you and your classmates have done with websites. I am in the Navy, living in Japan, and it's always nice to see a little bit of life in Missouri.

Great job girls. I love the picture on the home page. But tell me, don't you get dizzy doing so many of those???? HA!HA! - Just kidding. How long did it take you to do this. It was very thorough and had a lot of information. Did you do it all at school or do you have a computer at home that you work on. I am still learning a lot about computers. I must say you have one up on me cause I don't know how to create a home page.

Once again.....GREAT JOB GIRLS,

Now that your web page is posted it looks great! I think it is great that you learned how to do so many new things. Your colors and borders are beautiful. I wrote a web page last summer but it looks nothing like this. You should be so proud of yourself!

Kelsey and Hayley,

I think your page turned out wonderful. I really enjoyed watching your page come together. I know it was hard for you two to find time to work on this together. I appreciate all of the after school time you put in on this project. The Saturday’s, Sunday’s and evenings. I loved watching the whole makeup of your page come together. I think the whole look of it changed every couple of weeks. I like the final format that you finally decided on. The backgrounds are very pretty.

I love the animated photos you two did. I am sorry that the one we did of Hayley never got finished. We will get it done before the year is out though.

I am so proud of all that you s learned through out this project. Your final presentation is wonderful!!!

I am sorry that the end of the project was so rocky for us. We had achievement testing starting. We had that storm come through and take out our computer lab access to the internet which meant that we had to transfer the pages from one computer to another one that had a dial up connection. This involved rebuilding all of the broken links on your web site. I am amazed that we didn’t have more broken links than we do. You did a great job of getting them repaired in such a short amount of time. This really showed that you know what you are doing!

I know that you started this project with just a blank white page and just look what you have done with it!!!!!

Your web page looked really good. However, I did notice a mistake that you should fix. One of your links is for "moves and protection" and it should be "moves and positions." I really enjoyed the picture. Is it Kelsey?
