Hi !
I'm so glad that
you stopped by. My name is Amberleigh and even though I don't
have any horses of my own I really do love horses. I have loved
horses every since my first experience with them. I thought our
web page needed a little comedy so I will tell you about that.
The first experience I had with horses was at a friends house
when I was in kindergarten. The horse's name was Sally. That day
I learned alot about horses. I got to feed Sally, water her, and
brush her. While I was there I got to see Sally get a new pair of
shoes. I never thought about horses wearing shoes before. It was
very interesting to watch as the man nailed four new shoes on
Sally. Even though I didn't get to ride that day it was one of
the most unusual experiences of my life. The next time I had an
experience with horses was at my house.
I
GOT TO RIDE ONE!
A
friend of my dad brought over two horses one afternoon. One of
the horses was a cream color and the other one was dark brown. My
sister and I decided to ride the cream colored one. We both got
on and off we went. I think the horse had other ideas. I don't
think the horse was used to having two people ride him at the
same time... because it wasn't too long before we both found
ourselves on the ground. That's when I realized that maybe we
didn't know how to ride very well but we tried again.
This
time my sister got on the dark colored horse. I got on the cream
one.
Then you know what
happened that horse just took off running with her. It ran out of
our field and down the back road and through the back yards of
other people. My Dad and his friend and I were running and
chasing the horse and it finally stopped. When it was all over
everyone was okay and my sister survived the evil horse ride. I
know that it is hard to believe from this little story that I
love horses, but I really do.
