VERMONT EXPOS
In 1996 a Vermont minor league team
called the Vermont Expos won the New York Penn league.(The New York
Penn is the diviosion the Vermont Expos play in.) When I went to a
Vermont Expos game it was tons of fun. If you go on the bus, parking
is free. And their mascot is hilarious. His name is Champ and the
kinds of things he does are throw water balloons at the players,
dance on the dugout, and ride around on his little four
wheeler.
The Vermont Expos' stadium
(Centennial Field) is located in Burlington. I would recommend going
to a Vermont Expos game to any baseball fan. One of the best things
is tickets cost $1.00 for a kid and $5.00 for a grownup. If I ever
play major league baseball I want to play for the Vermont Expos
first.
