Sphere is about a group of people from the navy that want to find and recover a three hundred year old alien spaceship. The problem is the recovery operation is endangered by a Pacific typhoon. Their solution to this was to live underwater for a week or two. When they found the spaceship they saw it was a giant sphere about one mile in diameter and completely intact. The aliens that were on the space ship were gone and they couldnít find any bodies.

The author did a good job in describing the spaceship and the characters. The author did a good job with the plot. The author didnít do as well on the character and their personalities their personalities were not very deep. I enjoyed this book and it was very good.
