In Mossflower by Brian Jacques the main problem was freeing Mossflower woods from the rule of queen Tsarmina. The woodlanders must travel to Salamandastron to find Boar the Fighter. Boar the Fighter is the woodlandersí only hope to freeing Mossflower woods. The resolution to this problem is Martin the Warrior killing queen Tsarmina. Boar the fighter thought Martin to fight like a real warrior but was killed by a huge band of sea rats. The fortress the queen lived in was named Kotir, and it was built on an old lake. With tunnels dug by moles water came from the river Moss and flooded Kotir and then Martin The Warrior killed Queen Tsarmina in a brutal battle.
Mossflower had great description, but I thought Brian Jacques did an especially good job when Martin was fighting queen Tsarmina. The book was very exciting, but it were more exciting around the Salamandastron parts. The most exciting part about the Salamandastron parts was meeting Boar the Fighter. Mossflower went at a good speed throughout the whole book, but especially around the Salamandastron and Kotir parts. Mossflower in my opinion had a good ending when Martin killed and fought queen Tsarmina in a battle that nearly killed him to.
