Imagine a group of scientists were brought on a ship to the south pacific to go down 1,000 feet beneath the water to discover a spacecraft 300 years old from the future that landed in the deep ocean. The spacecraft was a mile long and in the spacecraft was a dead skeleton of a human with space food in his hand. And then a crazy woman places a bomb into the ship. You only have thirteen hours till the bomb blows up. Read the book to see what happens!

The conflict was when Harry went secretly to the sphere and got sucked in but it would only suck you in if it liked you. After three hours Harry came out and didnšt remember anything. And he did not remember that he got a dangerous power that could hurt his friends.

The main characters in the book are Norman, Harry, Beth and Captain Barnes. Norman is a doctor and was boyfriend and girlfriend with Beth, Beth too is a doctor but in her past life she tried to take 18 sleeping pills but Norman stopped her. Harry is a mathematiciann and Captain Barnes is the Captain of the ship who shows everyone how to work everything in their base. Will the sphere take them, too?

I thought this book was a fantastic book. It had action, suspense, and it makes you think like you were the people on the ship and going to be eaten up by a giant squid so big you canšt even imagine. If I were you I would definitely read this book.
